Membership Officers Update from Maj Ernest Cage & Maj Alex Mol
We have three membership items relating to our new membership database and website: user information update request, payment reminders, and personal chapter updates.
You may have noticed an email from us recently asking you to update your information with LOA. We recently changed our database and website manager and want to ensure that the data we have in the system–the same data representing you as well–is clean and correct. Additionally, our new system will send out payment reminders when your dues are set to expire soon. This is a great new feature that will allow you to see when your dues are set to expire. Finally, once you set your log-in, you can update your chapter preferences. This is critical as we will resume our chapter membership rewards program and want to ensure your chapter receives the funds from your membership.
If you have any membership issues, you can contact our Membership team of Major Ernest Cage and Major Alex Mol at membership@loanational.org.
Chapter Leaders Call to Action
Please contact our Chapter Ambassadors, Capt Carrie Kerner and Mr. Lance Winner, at ambassador@loanational.org to update your chapter leader information. This is important for your chapter to be eligible for upcoming Chapter Rewards. Don’t miss out!
AF Credentialing Opportunities On-Line (AF COOL)
The AF Credentialing Opportunities On-Line (AF COOL) website is an important addition to the Air Force Virtual Education Center that will help airmen navigate through the various civilian credentialing opportunities that are available for their control/duty AFSCs. AF COOL provides a one-stop for airmen to explore credentials recognized by the civilian community that can enhance airmen’s current performance in their AF job as well help prepare for civilian employment.
Did you know that APICS’ Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) program is eligible to be funded under AF COOL, for up to $4500, for enlisted service personnel in the AF? A certification in supply management or inventory management would be great for NCOs and SNCOs who are supporting operations at base level, Depots, and Product Centers as well as preparing them for their Next Mission in the Private Sector. Be sure to share the word with our enlisted force!
