2020 LOA Annual Awards Spotlight:
Wasatch Warrior Chapter – Lt Gen Donald J. Wetekam Chapter of the Year (Large)

The Wasatch Warrior LOA Chapter from Hill AFB, Utah was named the 2020 Lt Gen Donald J. Wetekam Chapter of the Year (Large category). The diverse chapter navigated a challenging year with COVID-19 CDC protocols. Despite the setbacks, the chapter went on the host several professional development opportunities both virtually and in-person following proper safety guidelines. The several chapter members utilized their network to pull together in preparation for several deployments around the globe using the Air Force’s first combat coded F-35s. The chapter underwent several new initiatives to include re-organize with fighter generation squadrons and multi-capable Airmen. Furthermore, uniformed and civilian chapter members worked tirelessly to ensure major depot operations continued under strict safety protocols, enabling the Air Force to continue flying around the globe and guaranteeing national defense during one of the nation’s most challenging times.
The LOA Executive Board is proud of the Wasatch Chapter for its dedication and commitment to fostering professional development, networking, and continuing the tradition of using education and mentorship to sharpen Airmen’s ability to remain lethal, agile, and ready for today’s fight.
