RML Group Tour Provides Strategic Lessons in Supply Chain and Manufacturing

In March 2025, the Sir Winston Churchill LOA Chapter, comprised of the 100th Air Refueling Wing, 48th Fighter Wing, and 352nd Special Operations Wing in the United Kingdom expanded the Tri-Base international relations and community involvement while touring a local business, RML Group. Specializing in civilian and military automotive research and development, RML Group is at the forefront of innovation and challenging the status-quo in design, manufacturing, and supply chain management. In addition to witnessing and experiencing cutting-edge applied engineering, the team utilized the tour as an educational and networking opportunity to learn best practices of the UK civilian logistics sector with a goal of mitigating the Tyranny of Distance of the Atlantic Ocean to receive parts.

This tour is one of many that the Sir Winston Churchill LOA Chapter is using to develop enlisted and officer logisticians to leverage efficiencies through applied learning and engagement with our NATO partners across the civilian and defense enterprises.
