Dennis Dabney is the Director of Interceptor Programs at Northrop Grumman and has been selected to serve on the Logistics Officer Association’s Board of Advisors.
Dabney joined Northrop Grumman in September 2016. He leads the design, test and assembly of Ground-Based Interceptor (GBI) boosters for the U.S. Missile Defense Agency’s Ground-based Midcourse Defense (GMD) program.
Prior to his position with Northrop Grumman, Dabney served 27 years in the U.S. Air Force retiring at the rank of colonel. During his final duty assignment, he was appointed to serve as the Acting Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Maintenance Policy and Programs (Tier- 2 SES position). Principal advisor for policies and procedures for maintenance support of major weapon systems and equipment within the Department of Defense and provided oversight of the Department’s annual $90 billion maintenance program.
Dabney was a career Air Force Aircraft Maintenance Officer and served as LOA President from 2015-2017.
