ARLINGTON, Va – The COVID pandemic created opportunities for the association to adjust and transform our business practices that ensure we continue to provide value to our membership, the Air Force Logistics Enterprise, and our profession of arms … Logistics.

The Logistics Symposium will now occur annually each Spring vice occurring in the Fall which ensures attendees have ample time to plan their attendance.

Scott Fike, our LOA President, has led the association through the COVID pandemic and ensured we executed an amazing LOA2020 Virtual University, the LOA2021 Symposium, and remained financially solvent for years to come. His leadership was paramount for our logistics community maintaining a strong foundation of professional development, networking, and mentoring.

Pursuant to the LOA Bylaws, Jason Kalin was appointed by unanimous vote to serve as LOA President from Spring 2021 to Spring 2022, which allows LOA to maintain continuity of the Executive Board and ensure only 50% of the board is newly elected each year.

Pursuant to the LOA Bylaws, Holly Gramkow was appointed by unanimous vote to extend as Chief Financial Officer until Spring 2022, which allows LOA to maintain continuity of the Executive Board and ensure only 50% of the board is newly elected each year.

Pursuant to the LOA Bylaws, the executive board has appointed Scott Fike to the Board of Advisors to continue to serve our association.

Pursuant to the LOA Bylaws, the executive board has appointed Dara Hobbs to serve as Deputy Chief Operating Officer.
