LOGNATION,

Thank you for your patience, advice, and guidance as we reestablished our fighting stance after the cancellation of the 2025 LOA Symposium. Many of you helped us realize the core strength of our LOA members, senior advisors, and corporate sponsors as we navigated the challenges of the past 6 months. Our new fighting stance is designed to be agile, engaging, and powerful with specific focus on education and deep value to our logisticians.

I am proud to introduce the 2026 LOA W.I.S.E. Symposium Series! Four events, four different locations, four focus areas, and each offering professional education, cross-talk, senior leader engagement with the DoD and industry.

Our individual themes are:

Warfighter:

“Logistics wins wars” – Gen John Pershing – Without a strong logistics backbone, the tip of the spear lacks strength, reach, or positioning. Warfighter Logisticians are found fixing aircraft, delivering vital cargo, building munitions, and ensuring space operations happen.

Innovator:

“War is the mother of innovation” – A.J.P. Taylor – Creativity drives problem solving and logisticians solve problems, maximizing limited resources while staying focused on the mission. Innovator Logisticians are found in research roles, working groups, think tanks, and procurement.

Sustainer:

“Behind every great leader there was an even greater logistician” – James M. Cox – The right things, in the right locations, with the right quantities need the right policies. Sustainer Logisticians are found in depots, warehouses, inspection offices, and on staff.

Educator:

“Amateurs worry about strategy. Dilettantes worry about tactics. Professionals worry about logistics.” – Gen Robert H. Barrow – Education brings options, mitigates risks, and enhances experiences; the hallmark of a professional logistician. Educator Logisticians are found at schools, PME courses, training classes, exercises, and developing the next generation of loggies.

We are thrilled to announce the future LOA events are:

  •  Sustainer – 12-13 November 2025 – Virtual
  •  Educator – 17-18 March 2026– OKC Convention Center Oklahoma City, OK
  •  Innovator – 4-5 May 2026 – Gaylord Convention Center Washington, D.C.
  •  Warfighter – 11-12 August 2026 – Las Vegas, NV

In true Air Force fashion we have been flexible while ensuring we have the required thrust and vector to successfully achieve our mission. With this newfound direction, we will pivot to host multiple, small scale events that bring the logistics community together with educators, industry partners, and mentors. Bring your Chapter, Unit, Team to share your deep experiences and expand your logistics network!

Thank you for your continued dedication to your logistics profession.
