ST. LOUIS, MO. – The Logistics Officer Association Symposium came to a close Friday, 29 March, concluding the organization’s 42nd anniversary and several days of professional development events for logisticians from all over the world.
The keynote speakers today included the commander of U.S. Space Command, an Industry Power Hour with our platinum and diamond sponsors, a Fireside chat with senior logisticians, a Chiefs’ panel, and ending the week with a Resiliency Panel. The breakout sessions were diverse again today from space to China.
At this year’s symposium, LOA hosted 93 booths in the vendor exhibitor hall. This forum provided an important venue for Department of Defense, industry, and academic partners to learn about cutting edge technology and share discussions about warfighter needs.
Our sponsors provided crucial support that enabled the symposium, sponsors in the exhibitor hall reinforced many of the messages and themes from sessions on the mainstage and across the break out sessions. These perspectives were shared by LOA attendees who interacted with the vendors throughout the event.
Each year, sponsors make the LOA symposium possible and also add tremendous value to the content and quality of the professional development offered.
Closing out the 2024 LOA Symposium, the newly appointed LOA President Jason Okumura invited LOA members and sponsors back to Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas for LOA 2025.
“After a great week of professional development, I hope a you’ll join us again next year for #LOA2025!”
