The Logistics Officer Association is pleased to announce that the Executive Board has appointed Jerry Ottinger to the role of Vice President!
Jerry currently serves as Chief of the Logistics Readiness Division at Headquarters Air Force Materiel Command, Wright-Patterson AFB, where he shapes policy, drives strategy, and keeps the logistics enterprise running smoothly. A seasoned leader, he brings experience as a Supply Officer, Logistics Readiness Officer, and holds both Maintenance and Acquisition Officer badges. His career spans leadership roles at the squadron, group, MAJCOM, Air Component Command, and Combatant Command levels.
Prior to stepping into the Vice President role, he served LOA since 2019 holding the roles of Chief Learning Officer and Dean of LOA University. Jerry brings a strategic mindset, a collaborative spirit, and just enough humor to keep things lively. He’s eager to engage chapters, elevate dialogue, and ensure LOA continues to unite the Log Nation—reinforcing logistics as a decisive edge against global adversaries.
