Jason Castleberry has been appointed by the Logistics Officer Association Executive Board to serve as the Editor-in-Chief for the Exceptional Release.

The Executive Board is proud to announce that Jason Castleberry has been nominated and selected to serve as the Editor-in-Chief of the Exceptional Release for the Logistics Officer Association. Jason is a fully qualified Air Force Logistics Readiness Officer currently assigned to Headquarters Central Command at MacDill Air Force Base with previous assignments as a Military Entrance Processing Station Commander, an Assistant Professor at the United States Air Force Academy, and logistics assignments in air transportation, deployment and distribution, supply, and munitions. 

With a passion for mentorship, innovation, and fostering collaborative discussion, he has written “Lessons Learned During Lieutenantship” for the Exceptional Release and “National Interests as a Bargaining Process: The Case for Libya” promoting both personal and professional development and understanding. Jason is excited to promote collaboration and bring innovative content from the Airmen on the flightline to the pages of the Exceptional Release and our logistics community

Jason is the recipient of the Major General Hugh J. Knerr Exceptional Author Award and previously served as the president of the Barbarossa Chapter at Ramstein Air Base, Germany.
