Col (ret.) Kevin Sampels, currently Director of Logistics at Sehlke Consulting in Arlington, Virginia, has been selected to serve on the LOA Advisory Board. Mr. Sampels served over 36 years in the Air Force, and retired in Nov 2017. He is a career logistician, serving in multiple wing, major command, HQ Air Force and Joint positions. He has commanded in both the Logistics Readiness and Aircraft Maintenance communities and has deployed around the globe in support of multiple operations, contingencies and exercises.
Within Sehlke’s Logistics & Supply Chain Management practice area, the team assists customers in planning, implementing policies and procedures, acquisition, and readiness through human capital and technology strategies. Sehlke’s logistics personnel bring direct defense experience and deep supply chain expertise to government organizations challenged with significant shifts in demand and funding for aircraft, equipment and defense-related services. The team’s experience extends from pre-positioning, strategy, and Research and Development (R&D) to product development and logistics performance.
