Is Your LOA Chapter L.I.V.E? We know there are many deserving LOA members who’ve devoted countless volunteer hours to education, mentorship and enhancing our professional development missions this last year. Has your chapter made innovations with education or outreach? Why not be recognized and share your successes.
Just like the 2015 Symposium theme, we will recognize those among us who have displayed Leadership, Innovation, Velocity and Excellence (LIVE). We invite you to recognize and share their story. Please submit your Logistics Officer Association Award nominees IAW the LOA Guidance-5 directly to VP@loanational.org no later than 31 August 2015. It is best to send packages as PDF and minimize file sizes. Photos should be sent separately. The nomination committee will determine the winners by 15 September and the LOA National Board will announce during the 2015 LOA Symposium in Washington, DC, October 19-22, 2015.
As a reminder, chapters may submit a package for the following categories of LOA National awards:
For Chapters:
1. Lt Gen Wetekam Chapter of the Year Award (Large Chapter)
2. Mrs. Tune Chapter of the Year Award (Medium Chapter)
3. Col Hass Chapter of the Year Award (Small Chapter)
For Individuals:
4. Gen Babbitt National Distinguished Service Award (NDSA)
5. Maj Gen Saunders Chapter Distinguished Service Award (CDSA)
CHAPTER ROSTERS: Chapter Presidents may request a roster of those members who are current on their National LOA dues (a requirement to assess chapter size) from our Chapter Ambassadors, at ambassador@loanational.org
