The Logistics Officer Association is pleased to announce that Alyssa Heimerman has been appointed as the National Ambassador.

Alyssa is an esteemed Aircraft Maintenance Officer with nearly 12 years of dedicated service, will embark on an exciting new chapter as the LOA National Ambassador. With a background deeply rooted in the Air Force logistics enterprise, Alyssa brings a wealth of experience and passion to her new role.

Raised by two Air Force parents who also served in logistics career fields, Alyssa’s journey in service began early. From working on a diverse array of aircraft, including C-5, C-17, KC-10, AC-130W, CV-22, M/HC-130Js, HH-60G/W, and UH-1, to serving as the Commander of the 58th Maintenance Squadron at Kirtland AFB, New Mexico, Alyssa’s dedication to the mission is unwavering.

Beyond her professional achievements, Alyssa’s personal life reflects her adventurous spirit. An avid outdoors enthusiast, she finds solace in hiking, backpacking, and trail running. A lifelong learner, Alyssa can often be found engrossed in educational books and thrilling novels.

With the arrival of her second child in June 2024, Alyssa’s commitment to service extends beyond the military realm. As the LOA National Ambassador, she aims to bridge the gap between LOA National and its Chapters, ensuring transparent communication and robust support for individual chapter needs. Having previously served as the Chapter President of both the Desert Commando Chapter at Cannon AFB, New Mexico, and the Golden Gate Chapter at Travis AFB, California, Alyssa’s vision for LOA encompasses enhanced support for all chapters.
