The Logistics Officer Association is seeking to hire an Editor-In-Chief for our award-winning peer-reviewed professional journal, the Exceptional Release. Written and edited specifically for Acquisition, Technology, and Logistics professionals, and established in 1982, the ER is LOA’s flagship publication, providing articles on current issues relevant to both public and private sectors.
Specifically, the Editor-In-Chief is responsible for communicating and collaborating with logistics professionals across our community to deliver high quality, on-time publications of the Exceptional Release. Ideal candidates for this position will:
- Have experience authoring articles for the Exceptional Release and other reputable publications,
- Have experience editing articles and essays,
- Demonstrate a track record of excellence and involvement in the LOA (Chapter leadership position experience preferred), and
- Be committed to delivering respectful, evidence-based, & solutions-focused content to promote professional development across the logistics community.
